CLS 21st Golf Classic

We are excited to let you know that we will be able to hold our annual golf tournament this year! Yes, there will be a few adjustments due to COVID-19, but we hope you come and join us.

On Friday, July 10, the tournament will be held, as in previous years, at Applewood Hills Golf Course in Stillwater. This year we will be golfing with carts and enjoying fellowship afterwards. We won’t be having our normal lunch or prizes, but we hope you are able to join us for the fellowship!

If you are able to join us, please complete a registration form and return it to school by Sunday, July 5. Registration forms are available at both campuses and attached here and on Facebook. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mr. Dobberstein (mrd@christlutheran.us). Thank You for your support!!!!!!!

COVID-19 Update

Dear believers at Christ Lutheran,

God assures us that he can use the hardest of situations for our eternal good. Romans 5 says, “Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.”

Certainly we are facing a challenging situation today. But God is still in control and you are safe in the hands of your Good Shepherd. Based on COVID-19 and MN State guidelines, the church council has agreed to suspend worship services in their normal format. Please know that we do not take this decision lightly since nourishing your faith with God’s Word and sacrament is a top priority. Be assured that our mission is not changing. We are exploring various avenues for bringing God’s Word into your home including online services, daily devotions via Facebook and Constant Contact, online Bible studies, mailed DVDs or printed sermons to those without computer access and other methods. If you haven’t already signed up for our Constant Contact emails and daily devotionals, please send your email address to church@christlutheran.us or pastorhennig@chirstlutheran.us or you may call the church office.

Please know that your pastors and elders are willing to respond to your personal spiritual needs. We also ask you to watch for ongoing updates. May God give you a peace that surpasses all understanding through Christ Jesus our Savior.

Pastor Matt Hennig

Saturday, January 28 from 10-11:30 am at our NSP Campusboy-flakes
