September 18 was the official kickoff of ILLUMINATE. Our goal is to Illuminate the light of the gospel in our church and community through wise management of our Time, Talents, Treasure and Testimony. Here is a brief explanation of some of the current opportunities:

Talents There are countless opportunities to serve. Take a look at the commitment cards for current ways you can serve the Lord and others. Commitment cards are located at both the North St. Paul and Hugo site.
Treasure We are seeking gifts to upgrade our Audio/Visual system in North St. Paul. A new sound system with a soundboard in the balcony will allow for greater clarity and control. A video system enables us to show WELS connection videos, project hymn stanzas and Bible readings and occasional video clips and images.
Another way of making a difference in the lives of others and letting Christ’s light shine is through donations for families at Christian Life Ministries (see commitment card for immediate needs). The gifts may be small but the acts of love are greatly appreciated!
Testimony Christ has entrusted the good news of the Gospel to us. It is a privilege to share this message with others around us. Consider participating with some of the “testimony” opportunities listed on the commitment card.
